Invited panel member at QOTOQT

Quantum Optics TO Quantum Technology is a workshop conference in honour of Sir Peter Knight's 70th birthday at The Royal Society. He is not only knighted by the Queen, but was at the forefront of quantum optics and quantum information science, establishing the theoretical quantum optics group at Imperial College London. He was the first to predict that atoms in the presence of intense laser fields would radiate waves corresponding to high harmonics.
You can find out more about his accolades & achievements here and here and on his Wiki page!

I had the pleasure of being invited as a panel member for the Innovation session on 11th July. I count myself as a newbie in this 'commercialisation' field so it was a real honour!
With me on the panel (and much more qualified!) are:

Professor Chris Monroe (CEO, IonQ) Professor in Univ. Maryland

Professor Andrew White (Director, EQuS) Professor in Univ. Queensland

Dr. Jake Kennard, QKD entrepreneur at Bristol

Dr. Peter Lewis, Google

And the panel was chaired by Dr. Richard Murray, Innovate UK.
